August 2007: After the acquisitions of Nacanco in May and Grúas Homs in June, Euroloc, the second largest equipment rental company in Spain which is majority-owned by Private Equity Group Advent International, acquires Umesa, a leading Spanish company operating in the aerial platforms segment.

Headquartered in Castellbisbal (Barcelona), Umesa is one of the leading companies in the Spanish aerial platforms sale and rental market focused on the tertiary construction and auxiliary construction services sector. The company, acknowledged as one of the fastest growing aerial platforms companies in the world, has registered in the last years a continued 40% annual growth. In 2006, Umesa reached revenues of 49 million euros and currently has a network of more than 15 delegations and 450 employees. Gaspar Puig, Umesa’s C.E.O., joins the Board of Directors of Grupo Euroloc.

After the acquisition, the third in the last three months, Grupo Euroloc achieved combined revenues of 240 million euros in 2007 and has an equipment fleet of 33,000 units and 1,200 employees.
