December 2016: Royo Group, a multinational company specialising in bathroom furnishings and appliances, incorporates HIG Europe within its capital structure.
Royo Group currently has 650 employees at its factories in Quart de Poblet (Valencia, Spain), Sztum (Poland) and Mexico City (Mexico). It operates in more than 60 countries, with 80% of its revenues generated outside of Spain. The company’s management team will remain at the helm, led by Raúl Royo, who has been CEO since 2008.
With the entrance of HIG within the Royo Group’s shareholder structure, the company pursues to consolidate its leading position within the European bathroom furnishings and appliances sector as well as to boost an inorganic growth strategy through acquisitions in other related bathroom product segments.
