December 2012: Caravelle completes the acquisition, in an Over-The-Counter transaction, of the 15.35% stake in Naturex Group held by Natraceutical, a Spanish company listed on the Spanish Stock Exchange and focused on the application of biotechnology to the nutrition and health sectors.
Naturex Group is a global leader in specialty plant-based natural ingredients listed on the NYSE-Euronext Stock Exchange. Caravelle is a diversified French industrial group with holdings in the pharmaceutical, industrial, bodywork, mechanics and hotel sectors. This friendly acquisition fits within the strategy of Caravelle that wishes to participate in pursuing the development projects of Naturex Group in line with latter’s strategy over the last 20 years.
