July 2022 – Sale of a minority stake in Onza to Garbo Produzioni.
Onza Entertainment is dedicated to the production and distribution of fiction and entertainment audiovisual content and operates mainly in Spain, with an incipient presence in Latin America and the United States. Its productions include the series El Ministerio del Tiempo, Parot, Pequeñas Coincidencias and Hernán Cortés.
Garbo Produzioni is an Italian audiovisual production company founded by one of the branches of the Bulgari family in 2017. The transaction is a strategic acquisition for Garbo Produzioni to enter the Spanish, US and Latin American market with an established brand, being Onza Entertainment one of the few truly independent TV production companies of a certain size in Spain.
With this transaction, Onza seeks to strengthen its growth in Europe, Latin America and other markets through joint content development with Garbo.
