September 2022 – Calidad Pascual acquires Jurado Hermanos.
Calidad Pascual is a leading family-owned company in the food sector with the following brands: Pascual (dairy products), Bezoya (mineral water), Vivesoy (vegetable drinks), Bifrutas (milk and fruit juice) and Mocay (coffee brand aimed at the horeca channel which was acquired in 2010, transaction in which SOCIOS advised on the sale process).
Founded in 1912, Jurado Hermanos is a company dedicated to the production and commercialization of coffee, mainly for the horeca channel. It has its own brand and is well known in the Levante region.
With this transaction, Mocay consolidates its position as one of the major players in Spain in the coffee sector for the horeca channel.
SOCIOS has been the exclusive financial advisor to Calidad Pascual in all aspects related to the design, execution, negotiation and closing of the transaction.
