October 2022 – Grupo Flex acquires Schramm
Founded in 1912, Flex has more than 100 years of experience in the sector and currently holds a leading international position in the bedding industry. In recent years Flex has strengthened its international presence through acquisitions, such as the American company Kluft & Co in 2013. In 2017 Aurica Capital acquired a minority stake in the group.
Schramm Werkstätten is a manufacturer of luxury beds and mattresses. With 100 years of tradition, Schramm holds a leading position in the premium market segment in Germany. Schramm operates mainly in Germany, Austria, Benelux and Switzerland.
Leveraging our deep knowledge of the Spanish market, we identified Grupo Flex and made the initial approach on behalf of Oaklins Germany. Our colleagues, with our continuous support, acted as the exclusive M&A advisor for the sellers in this transaction.
