October 2024 – Sale of a majority stake in IDP to Bureau Veritas
Founded in 1998 and headquartered in Sabadell, Spain, IDP is an engineering services group specialising in the BIM methodology, with a solid track record both domestically and internationally across various sectors. Furthermore, IDP has developed capabilities in digitalisation through the development of digital twins, positioning itself as a pioneer in this field within Spain.
The transaction involves the exit of Nazca Capital from the company’s shareholder base, while the founding team, retains a minority stake in the capital.
This acquisition is of strategic importance to Bureau Veritas, as it strengthens its position in the Spanish market, and its portfolio of engineering services based on the BIM methodology.
