January 2022 – IDP acquires a majority stake in Ecointegral Ingeniería
IDP is a Spanish leading player in (Building Information Modelling) BIM-based engineering, architecture and other digitalization services for a wide range of sectors including industry, logistics, infrastructure, retail, etc., with offices in Spain and Latin America. With this acquisition, IDP reinforces its portfolio of services with the new Energy and Telecommunications divisions, while strengthening its position in the domestic market through the addition of 220 professionals and offices in Cordoba, Malaga, Zaragoza, Las Palmas and Kraków (Poland).
In 2019, SOCIOS advised the shareholders of IDP in the sale of a majority stake of the group to funds advised by Nazca Capital, a Spanish Private Equity Fund, and since then has continued to work with IDP on acquisition opportunities, including advising services provided in the acquisition of Indutec Ingenieros in May 2021.
SOCIOS has been the exclusive financial advisor to IDP in the transaction.
