August 2015: Kaplan Inc, the global and training and education services provider, sells is Spanish and South America business Structuralia to its management team following a competitive sales process.
Structuralia, which specializes in providing training to the engineering and building industries, was spun out of OHL some two decades ago and was acquired by Kaplan in 2008. Due to a refocusing on B2C activities at Kaplan, the business unit became non core at a time of weakening demand for training services in Spain.
