January 2013: The Spanish private equity fund MCH together with Sergesa Group have completed the disposal of Televida Servicios Sociosanitarios to Tunstall Group.
Televida is the leading private telecare services provider for eldery and dependent individuals in Spain, assisting over 190 thousand users in Andalusia, Catalonia, Murcia, The Basque Country and Melilla. MCH exits Televida realizing one of its most successful investments in a particularly challenging environment for private equity in Spain. It guarantees the continuation of the project as the current management team will continue leading the company.
Tunstall Group, controlled by the private equity Charterhouse, is a leading provider of healthcare software, specialized in monitoring assistance for eldery and disabled individuals, with a presence in over 30 countries. This acquisition enables Tunstall to strengthen its activity in Spain and to enter the telecare services business.
