October 2019: GPF Capital acquires Gestair, the reference in executive aviation in Spain.
Founded in Madrid in 1977, Gestair is the leading provider of executive aviation services in Spain and was the first company in the country specialised in providing the full range of services of operation and management of business jets. In 2006, Gestair expanded its operations in order to also offer maintenance services to business jets and has since become the operator with the widest portfolio of maintenance services in Europe, with the technical capacity to maintain 90% of the business jets available in the global market.
With the acquisition of Gestair, GPF Capital, together with the management team of the company, backs a new strategic plan articulated around three axis: (i) maintain, strengthen and expand the management, operation and maintenance services in Spain, (ii) open a second hangar in Madrid Barajas in order to increase the maintenance and hangaring capacity and (iii) develop internationally the Gestair brand in Europe and Latin-American.
