July 2019: GPF Capital, an investment fund based in Spain, acquires Quimi Romar.
Founded in 1968 in Valencia, Quimi Romar manufactures and distributes personal care and household cleaning both liquid and aerosol products, mainly through owned brands. Products are commercialized in large distribution chains; discount and convenience retail stores; and traditional channel, with a large presence internationally.
The company was owned by Realza Capital, since 2012, and the founding family (minority stake).
The transaction fulfills GPF capital’s interest in creating the national leading player, having simultaneously acquired Envasado Xiomara.
